FAQ
General
Advanced Tax Planning is proactive, year-round planning that helps individuals and business owners legally reduce their taxes using strategies allowed under current tax law, before taxes are due. Unlike tax preparation, which reports what already happened, it focuses on planning ahead to keep more of what you earn and support long-term financial success
A preparer records what already happened and files your return accurately and on time. A strategist works before the year closes to change what gets recorded. Preparation is compliance. Strategy is planning. Most high earners buy preparation and assume it includes strategy. It rarely does.We focus on the second job: proactive, year-round planning that may lower what you owe going forward.
No. We work alongside your CPA, we do not replace them. Your CPA handles compliance, filing your return accurately. We add the proactive strategy layer that a once-a-year filing relationship was not scoped to cover. Many clients keep their CPA and gain a strategist, and the two coordinate.
Yes. Everything we do is grounded in the existing tax code. Tax avoidance, using the provisions the law already provides, is legal. Tax evasion is not, and we do not cross that line. The strategies we work with are written into the code. These include entity structuring, qualified retirement plans, and depreciation timing. The rules already exist. We help you use them correctly.
The consultation is a short call, about 30 minutes. We review your current tax setup, your income and business structure, and what you have already tried. You learn whether your situation has enough strategy room to be worth a deeper look. There is no obligation.
We work with business owners, real estate investors, high-income W-2 earners, and self-employed professionals, typically earning $250,000 or more a year or owing $50,000 or more in taxes. Not sure if you fit? Book a free consultation and we'll tell you honestly
You might be in good shape, and if you are, the consultation confirms it with certainty, which has its own value. More often, high earners carry strategies they were simply never shown. The consultation exists to find out which case is yours.
The best time is early in the year. Many strategies have to be in place before the year closes, and each one has its own cutoff. Some need to be started by mid-October, others by mid-November or mid-December. The earlier we start, the more options you have. If it's late in the year, book a consultation anyway, and we'll tell you which strategies are still open.
Start with a short, free consultation. Share your name, email, and phone, and we will get you on the calendar. You can also run the tax calculator first to see a ballpark of what proactive tax strategies could be worth in your situation.
